• I received the 2022 - 2023 Outstanding Graduate Student Award from XJTU.

• I presented Predict-and-Drive at the 15th PhD Student Workshop 2022 at CityU and received the Outstanding Presentation Award.

Short Bio

I am an assistant professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering and the XJTU-POLIMI Joint School, Xi'an Jiaotong University. Before this, I was a postdoctoral researcher working with Dr. Kening Zhu in MEI Lab, City University of Hong Kong. I got my two Ph.D. degrees from the School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong (CityU) and the School of Computer Science and Technology, Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) under the supervision of Prof. Hongbo Fu and Prof. Weizhan Zhang. I closely collaborated with Prof. Christian Sandor (External Co-Supervisor). I obtained my bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2018.
My research interests lie in the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Computer Graphics (CG). Specifically, my main research focus is on exploring novel interactive techniques to improve the efficiency and sense of co-presence in Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) Telepresence / Teleconferencing / Telecollaboration. My work aims to bridge technological innovation with human-centered creative practice and applications through interdisciplinary research.
